Rude and condescending. No bedside manner. Difficult to talk to and then he doesn’t appear to listen and brushes you aside as quickly as possible. Explanation of condition was proved wrong an hour later.
Dr. Patel is absolutely the best MD I’ve ever had. He is kind and professional. He always listens to my concerns and spends more time with me than most other doctors. My husband and I both go to see him. whenever we have a change in insurance we make sure that Dr. Patel is in-network because it is so hard to find a good doctor and our experiences with him have been exceptional.
I'll never forget my 2nd appt (and my last) w/Patel. A few months after my initial appt, I went in to see him w/fever, chills, vomiting etc. I was in bad shape, I could barely drive myself to his office. At his request, I began to list a couple of my symptoms when he rudely interrupted me by saying, "talk faster." I paused for a second. Condescendingly, he repeated, "You heard me. Talk faster." I am a grown man (and twice his size). He's lucky I decided to remain calm and get the Z-pak I needed rather than knock his teeth do... read more
I had been having headaches so the Dr. suggested a brain MRI. I got one on Thursday 4/21. I heard nothing on Friday or Monday so I emailed him to ask for results. Silence. I called on Tuesday and asked that he call me. Silence. Called again Wednesday and asked to speak to him. I get a callback several hours later from an assistant or nurse who tells me “It’s fine but your MRI is abnormal.” What? How can those two things exist together? Why did I have to call THEM for this info and why isn’t the Dr calling me himself? I asked... read more
Always professional..staff remembers me,makes me feel comfortable, always listens to me and makes me feel valued
Very good doctor, kind, caring & knowledgeable. You're lucky if you get to see him. Wait time almost 1 hour every visit. Front desk is chaotic & poorly run. Nurse practitioner is nice, but decided to renew my 87 yr old mother's long-term prescription for one month only stating it is diabetes related. We were led to believe this doctor could handle it. Is this not an internal med practice?? My poor Mom was devastated. 90+ minutes wasted! And I was told to get a chest x-ray with "clear lungs". Last visit was NOT a good one!
I was palmed off to his nurse practitioner after having a stroke. A stroke is serious.
Dr Patel has taken care of both me and my elderly parents. They have a lot of medical issues and he has always be very thorough and attentive to their needs. In addition, he has an excellent bedside manner. He is HIGHLY recommended!
Dr. Patel was a kind and caring Doctor. I had to leave his Office due to the ongoing eggregious unkind and utterly unprofessional Front Desk Office Staff. (Receptionist). I believe he had enough ongoing information and complaints/ concerns about this individual, prior to my shocking experience, to improve the situation. He is a great Doctor, however. His Office staff is utterly unprofessional. Never stay where you're verbally assualted by a petulant child.
