original menu items fabulous margaritas – the food here was good lots of interesting combinations of flavors and meats. its pretty expensive but you do get a lot of food. and the margaritas were tasty.
Barbeque not so great. – I got the barbeque plate, this is Texas isn't it? I love Texas style beef brisket. I was suprised to see that the bbq plate had pulled pork, sausage, and spare ribs. The menu did specifically state it was Eastern Texas bbq. I didn't know about that distinction. Anyway, the ribs where flavorless except for the chiptole bbq sauce which was interesting. The bar stretches across the western windows, attracting stylish Clayton professionals and an over-30 crowd. The dining room, meanwhile, plays host to a jumble of tables set too close together, making mobility and conversation a challenge. The Food As its na... read more
