The doctor herself is good but getting through to her via her staff is a nightmare. The staff is untrained and not very courteous. They leave you on hold forever trying to make appt or getting answers to you. I had to get blood work done right after my appt and had to sit in quest for 30 mins just because the nurses didn’t put the codes on the the test sheet. Had to call over and over again and she still couldn’t figure it out. The doctor is good but her staff reflect poorly on her.
Dr. Sami is a good doctor and I like that I can make appointments easily at this office. What I find troubling though is her nurse who is very unskilled in giving shots and drawing blood. She has multiple times failed in drawing blood for lab work and has caused bruising that has lasted over a week. The nurse needs to be trained.
Dr. Sami has a lovely personality, and was very efficient. She took time to discuss her concerns with me and even made medical recommendations for other issues than what I saw her for (she recommended I continue finding a more suitable doctor and get more conclusive results, nothing out of boundary). Overall I found her very kind and detail oriented.
I've had a hard time finding a good doctor, but I've finally found someone who is attentive and educates you so you know exactly what is happening within your body. Also, this is the cleanest and most modern doctor's office,I loved her friendly and caring attitude to engage with her patient. I've already referred family her.
I chose Dr. Tehmina Sami her as my primary care, and absolutely loved her, later we transfer our kids care to her as well. Our kids absolutely love coming to Dr. Sami! She's incredibly good with kids, , gracious and loving towards our children. They have always been able to get our kids in when they become ill and available at ALL hours if an unforeseen situation arises and will call you back in minutes, if not seconds. Had a very positive experience with Dr. Sami. Waited about 15 minutes and then the doctor spent about 45 minutes with me going over my medical history and making sure to thoroughly understand me before coming up with a plan. I came in with a lot of questions and had all of them answered for me by an extremely knowledgeable doctor, Very friendly staff and doctor and convenient location. Nowadays Good Primary Care is very difficult to find and I am happy to find Dr. Sami as my new Primary Care.
Very unprofessional doctor with a rude and untrained staff
Dr. Tehmina Sami was thorough and timely, She was extremely professional, very informative, and courteous, most importantly, very affable. I felt so comfortable, a knowledgeable doctor that puts the patient first who Leaves no stone unturned. Definitely, plan on making this Dr office my primary care.
Dr. Sami is very attentive, but appears to still have confidence issues in her capabilities. While determining conditions, she is constantly looking at her phone or tablet to decide which tests to order or perhaps research conditions. Looking at an iPhone while with a patient creates nervousness.
