This place was awesome. Took the kids for Spring break and had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly. Ibwould highly recommend it to everyone. Keep your expectations reasonable it is a tee pee so its small but we expected that.
I cannot describe how terrible the campground is here. DO NOT stay at the campground. I thought it would be neat to have our camper next to the teepees. I literally paid my $30, saw my spot and drove away. I felt unsafe, there were potholes and pools of mud and trashy campers EVERYWHERE. If you are interested in the teepees, I'm guessing they are OK..But I strongly advise to never camp there. Totally not kid friendly either. I loved my stay here. Beds were warm and comfortable. I love the back story too. The staff was friendly and professional. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed in the rv section. There was garbage every where. Most of the trailers were literally falling down. The 50 amp at the site we were assigned was blown. The people parked next to us had there extra vehicle half in our site with no one there to move it. My husband played jockey trying to get us backed in only to discover the hookups were then on the wrong side. Luckily we have extra of everything. The shower/restroom had mildew On the doors and walls. Only thing to compliment was the gal that checked us in.
We spent last Wednesday night there and had a great time! Looking forward to going back soon!
Loved the serenity, the ambience and the kitschy Americana . 10/10, Would stay again.
