On vacation for my birthday and this place was EVERYTHING!!! I adopted Mrs. Joyce (her niece) who made me a special gift and from now on ONLY TEE-EVA for us!!!
In town for the holidays, my sister and I got a pecan pie, which was made for us on Christmas Eve (thank you so much for the last minute pie!!!). The pecan pie was absolute perfection, the tiny sweet potato pies were easily the best I've ever had, and the pralines were to die for. I will be back every time I'm in town, and I'll tell everyone I know in the area to come buy pie!
Loved the owner! Loved the staff! A very welcoming spot and tasty snow-balls. Bring cash because they don't accept cards, but the prices are very affordable. $2 for sweet potato pie?! Unheard of. Miss Tee Eva is a gem.
While waiting for parades, we tried the pralines and the mini crawfish pies ... both were delicious!!
Walked around Magazine St and waited until 20 minutes after her stated opening time on a Sunday. Tee Eva met us at the door saying she was on her way to church and to come back later because her relationship with God was more important than customers. I'm fine with her desire to worship but change your hours on the door and online. Didn't go back.
Simply the best when it comes to authentic New Orleans deserts and specialty foods! Best pralines ever!
Well worth the trip up Magazine...!!
