I've been going to Ted's since I was a child and have always been treated well there. One has to judge the place for what it is and not so much compare it to a big box store. I never walk out without seeing something I didn't notice the last time. Some things may be a little over priced but most items are excellent deals. Everytime I walk in there with a particular item in mind I find myself discovering some new item I hadn't even thought of before.
