Love it! – Great Bison, planked salmon is fantastic (with the best horseradish sauce ever). They do have a strange salad, nice greens with a burger on top -- that was strange. BUT great service, wonderful atmosphere and fast to seat you. Onion rings are great, they make these fries with chili and cheese that are equally delish. I wouldn't go there for a steak…. the specialize in buffalo for cryin' out loud!
Great food and service – I've eaten at Ted's many times over the years since I've discovered it and never had a bad experience. The food is almost always cooked to order - mistakes can happen anywhere once in a while - and the service is excellent. Although if you go during the lunch rush, you may have a wait in line and then a long wait for the food, depending on what you order and how well done, but that's true at any great restaurant. When End of the Bison was I eating? – They serve bison at Ted?s and they?re really proud of it, too. They?d probably be prouder if somebody in the place would learn how to cook the stuff so it doesn?t taste like roadkill. Great experience – I've only been once and I'd likely recommend it based on my experience. The bison burger was great. The server was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.
Thumbs Down – This place was an OK burger place about 3 years ago. Seems they've lost whatever touch they had. The last couple times I was there the burgers were sorta overcooked bison. If you keep an eye on the bar you can see them sloshing the beer glasses int heir filthy bilge water filled sink. Look out they will serve you your beer in that. I got the filthiest glass of beer there. This place is now a greasy spoon and I wont be going back.
Best Bison in Nashville – After reading some of the other posts concerning service at this restaurant I was more than a little apprehensive. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Terry, was very attentive but didn't hover, he made excellent menu suggestions and kept us taken care of all night. The food was wonderful! Okay Food + Bad Service = Never Going There Again – I just wanted to try Bison for the first time after reading about the meat and the restaurant. The Biason actually tasted alright. The service was so bad it didn't matter how the food tasted. There are too many restaurants in Nashville's West End area to patronize one with bad service. Not Very accomodating!!!! – I have been a frequent visitor to MTG in Tallahassee. I have found the service to be good until one recent visit where the waitress told my husband he could have more than 1 refill on the arnold palmer tea after he questioned her about it and told her he would take reg. tea if that was the case. They ran out of turkey and dressing at 2:00 on the turkey and dressing special day.
