We purchased a new Oakmont Signature Home (same company/owner as Ted Mason Signature Homes) in February is 2017. And when we purchase the home, we had issues with gapes in the hardwood floor. Since then, the floor has been repaired or redone twice and now the floor is cupping again. The flooring company told us that this type of hardwood floor has had issues in Idaho and had the same problem at other Oakmont Signature Homes and Ted Mason Signature Homes. We were scared to build a home because we had heard stories that builds always go over budget and that the customer ultimately doesn't get what they were wanting. I can tell you, that was not the case when we built with Ted! If you are looking for a new home I would strongly encourage you to just meet with Ted about building a home because he will listen to you and take the time to get you exactly what you were wanting in a home.
A Ted Mason Signature home is unsurpassed in quality, energy savings, and comfort. Ted builds a luxury home without an enormous price tag. In addition to his very professional treatment of your wants and needs, he is an extremely nice guy that is a pleasure to work with.
Ted Mason is a wonderful builder, his homes are comfortable and you just like being home. He listens carefully to you when you ask for certain things and he finds a way to put it all together, his desire is to make his clients happy, and he does that. I have bought 2 other homes from him and I will never build with anyone else. If you are looking to build meet with Ted Mason before making any final decision, you will never regret it.
