I am beyond thankful for a surgeon who went beyond the normal patient care to ensure my dad got the help he needed to heal his foot instead of saying just cut it off. Dr. Ted Kovacev fought hard with the insurance to find a vascular surgeon who could see my dad and try to restore blood flow to his foot asap. He made call after call until he found someone who said yes. Any other surgeon would have just cut his foot off, but Dr. Kovacev has fought hard to make it heal.
