First off I want to say Dr. Soo was so right and right now I feel and can move so much better than a year a go. Now the story - kinda long Last Oct I started falling - over all about 5 or so times before I was able to get surgery. The falls seemed to be from my left leg "giving out" and having no strength or feeling. I started PT right away and went to see Dr. Soo. !PLEASE READ! I had unmanageable pain due to degenerative disc disease. Dr. Teck M. Soo performed fusion to my neck (one level). The outcome was so incredible. I have NO pain, at all, full mobility, 7 years later. So, as my back deteriorated (4 herniations) Dr. Soo fused 2 levels. Minimally invasive surgery. No complications. Recovery time was fast. Unprofessional-rude, no people skills I am a person generally healthy never had a surgery in my life. I went to Dr. Soo for a Herniated Disc problem. On my first appointment, he scheduled me for surgery right away within 2 weeks to help "alleviate my pain." When I went home and talked to my spouse I realized maybe I didn't get enough information or details. Surgery anywhere near the spine is a scary thing-especially for someone that never had surgery. F.B. I treated with Dr. Soo a few years ago. As for his surgical expertise, he is the best, bar none. His bedside manner is impeccable. He sits and listens to your concerns and cares. He answers your questions; and if he can't help you, he will so inform you. If the surgery he performed resulted in the desired outcome, what do you need to discuss. He will tell you all you need to know and if you listen carefully to him, I believe your questions will all be answered at the conclusion of the conversation.

Soo Teck Md - Michigan Spine & Brain Srgns I dealt with this doctor for spine surgery and I felt that he did a good job on the operation, but had "No Time" to listen or in my case care about anything I had to say in follow up visits. I would have a hard time recommending him to anyone.
