I have been a member of TechCU for over twenty years and have never regretted it until today when I called customer service and spoke with Divya Srinivas to obtain my husbands member number for a HELOC he recently opened. Divya would not allow me to confer with my husband so that he could be authenticated on the account. All of this because we just wanted our member number in order to pay our loan in time. Friday, June 16, 2023, 2 pm PDT I needed to close out what was left of my MEMBER Checking and Savings accounts, as I had some extremely disappointing experiences with TechCU. I unfortunately expected much more from this credit union. Please, when you get a moment read the TechCU Member Mission Statement. Really cool to see the bank implement advanced technology like Virtual Banking that allows me to do everything for my business through Zoom appointments rather than in person during this pandemic! Everyone is super helpful and it now saves me more time than ever when working from home and not having to go physically down to my local branch
Was on the phone with them for 40min to get my card accepted for payments in Germany but they ultimately hang up on me... Strongly considering changing banks
