The factory installed Bose radio system in my 04 Chevy Silverado went sour. When first starting the truck, the system hummed, buzzed, crackled but no music. Visited a couple of radio repair/replace shops in S. Florida, all saying the Bose amplifier was shot. Pain in the butt to get to, reccomend bypass Bose amp and install a new system, $1500 to $2000. Made some phone calls, was referred to Techni-Car, sent them the radio on Weds, got it back on Saturday, fully functional, no more humming, buzzing, crackling noise. Beautiful... read more

Terrible Service and even worst Customer Service! You will need to sue to get any money back! They take no responsibility for their incompetency, negligence and imprudence. I sent a 1989 Toronado Cluster and a very rare and expensive $2500 Visual Information Center display for repair fully insured. They received the units intact and after a few days called and said they were both not repairable. They sent me out a broken gauge cluster. Things happen I call to get a replacement. That's when things went completely south. They demand I pay to remove my dash again to send them the broken unit. Only then will they repair the unit after it's mailed across the country. Then I will have to pay again to have the dash taken out so I can install the hopefully working part. All they need do is send me a working unit and they refuse. This company does not care about customers.

Unfortunately a terrible experience this time. They previously were a great vendor. Not so in this particular transaction. Surprising how bad actually.
