Horrible service. Skip these guys! – For what it's worth... Techna Glass (auto repair glass center) in Salt Lake City is absolutely the worse business I've ever encountered. Please do not consider using them for any glass repair. You'll end up regretting the decision as I have. The management is inept, does not return phone calls, does not value their customers, most of their installers do a super half-ass job and their quality of product is dismal. A better choice is Diamond Glass.

Seriously? – I had to replace the passenger side window. they were able to do it the same day, so I took it in today. After nearly 2 hours I was excited to finally hear my name called. As I went out to my van, I noticed the outside trim had several new scratches, but I figured it was not too bad. I had vacuumed the van out the day before, but there were still several glass pieces, but I was told they would vacuum everything. They Saved My Day! – As I was driving a huge rock hit my windshield and instantly cause a crack from one side to the other. I drove directly over to Techna Glass on 90th. I had no appointment and needed it done on the spot. I asked for the manager and Jason came out of the shop to greet me. I asked him if he could put in a new windshield at a moments notice. A Great Big Thank You – I took my Ford Mustang in to Techna Glass to get a side window installed. My car is an old classic and I don't like anyone ripping into the door. I watched the guy take his time to disassemble the door to get to the window. After a few minutes, I stopped being so concerned, because every move he made was the right one. He showed patience and skill as he installed the piece of glass. I appreciated the good work and I didn't feel like I was a number being rush through the process.

THE JOB WAS DONE RIGHT! – I have a Dodge Ram Truck and getting a windshield replaced is hard. It always takes 2 or 3 guys to lift it into place. I went to Techna Glass and they had several guys around to help put the new windshield in. They taped it up really well, so it stayed in place. I watch the whole ordeal from start to finish. These windshield techs worked in unison to place the glass on the exact spot so my truck or glass wasn't scratched at all. SCREWED ME ROYALLY!!! – THEY DAMAGED MY CAR AND TRIED TO COVER IT UP, WHEN I CAUGHT THEM ON IT AND YELLED AT THEM THEY CALLED THE POLICE AND GOT EMPLOYEES TO LIE TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE I WAS A NUT CASE. I SPENT $1,000 IN A FINE BY SANDY CITY AND ANOTHER $1,500 IN ATTORNEY FEES TO DEAL WITH DISHONEST EMPLOYEES AT TECHNA GLASS. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU GO ANYWHERE ELSE INSTEAD OF LETTING THESE GUYS SCREW YOU TOO!

Going the extra mile without the extra cost – I had an experience that's worth writting about. I have an old classic porsche 1955. It needed a new windshield and so I called around and everyone told me the best price I could get because of the special order that would be needed to aquire such a windshield. Best Deal in Town – Nobody was more irate at having to replace their windshield than me. Everybody was very nice and professional and turned my bad day into a good one. The location and environment was very "un-auto shop" like. Clean and comfortable store with the best price around - I'll always go back.

thought it was good, i was wrong – it is always a difficult thing to have the unexpected happen especially when it costs you money. i thought with the initial call to get things set up my experience would be great. boy, that first impression was sure wrong! the technician in the sandy store was rude and condescending and i was very displeased. i had air noise when they replaced the windshield which is VERY annoying by the way. not only that, it took two more visits to get a decent windshield....the second one they put in was... read more
