Coolness I just have to say that some of the negative reviews are the result of miscommunication or unintended mistakes. Because I reside in Massachusetts and go all the way to mail my film to Belvedere Blvd. in Baltimore at Techlabphoto. The staff is no overnight operation, they really know how to bring out the best in your photo taking exercise. Great since 1998 I have used Tech Lab since about 1998 and will continue to do so. I have had both standard and specialty work done by them. I had a very old, torn and yellowed enlargement restored by them, and the results were truly fantastic. They have happily re-printed photos that came out with an "off-color". I have had custom sizes enlarged, and I have had slides printed as enlargements. They have always worked with me to give great results.
great service I agree that those who post reviews are often mad. I have brought my photos to tech lab for the past five years and have had only great experiences. They have given great advice. They are knowledgeable, creative and helpful.
Great Service! I notice that sometimes only people with negative views post... I would like to offer an opinion from a customer of 18 months, I have never dealt with a staff who honestly cared as much as they do. They have on several occasions worked with me to ensure everything I had was completed to look beautiful and professional. I would recommend Techlab for anyone!
Poor developing and awful customer service I also made the mistake of pre-paying the Techlab for prints made from slides. Not one print the Techlab made was even close to matching the colors of my slides. I was told that the detail and clarity of the prints were excellent and that I should have specified that I wanted the colors of the prints to be the same as the colors on the slides. Techlab is a gamble for photographers, no customer satisfaction policy I made the mistake of prepaying for work at Techlab, which was not processed to any of the specifications I had made. They refused to refund my money and kept the work! They've ignored a complaint through the BBB and have no intentions of making things right with their customers. Worst experience ever I just had a horrible experience at techlab. I had ordered some WALLET size pictures and was given the photos printed on 4X6 paper. First they were not ready when they were supposed to be, my 2nd trip there I was foolish not to check the photos until I got home. So the following day I called and asked why the photos were not cut to wallet size as I ordered. I was told by the EMPLOYEE that they would cut them down to size "no problem". Techlab comes through when you need them! Great Service! I needed an enlargement of an old photo of my daughter wearing a costume wedding gown at around age 8. Well she's 27 now and really getting married, so we wanted this snapshot blown up. I had two problems: 1) I didn't have the negative, and 2) We needed a person in the photo removed from the photo. Awesome work I was recently given a gift that came from Techlab that is just awesome. 196 pictures made into a collage ~ all my friends had one word for it & that was "WOW!" Additionally, the staff there is always friendly & eager to help. Great place to do business.
