Charged $35 to “clean” my charging port at the east side location. As seen before. It’s outrageous that I wasn’t informed I was going to be charged before they took my phone back and started cleaning it. I could’ve done the same job at home myself. I would’ve never paid the price if I knew it was so expensive. They didn’t tested the port at the store after cleaning. I learned a very important lesson recently of the importance of backing up your phone and photos. I’ve had my phone for six years and during that time taken a number of photos during vacations, family photos, work photos, and projects around the house. We have used Tech Guru twice for a Nintendo Switch fix and Ipad issues. Both times the issues were fixed, done quickly and priced reasonably. I would recommend this business to anyone! :)
Had these guys replace the battery in my phone, they got it done quick but the first battery they put in wasn't working right. They ordered up another brand new one and got that one put in even faster. Fantastic customer service.
If you need your cellphone repaired, please go to Tech Guru. I walked in there on a Friday afternoon expecting to either wait, but I was helped right away. The Guru was honest, friendly,and was knowledgeable about why I probably couldn't charge my phone. He looked at my phone it was fixed with two minutes. I'm so glad that I went there instead of paying the deductible on my cellphone insurance to get it fixed. If I could give them more than five stars I would.
