I brought my PC in after BIOS issues prevented it from booting. The rebuild was completed, but the process was drawn out and communication was poor. At one point, a technician called to tell me the PC was “totally cooked,” laughing during the call. A USB issue led them to replace my motherboard, but I was never informed they were using a different brand board. When I picked up the PC, it was missing the IO shield and mesh cover, had stripped and missing fan screws, my mouse USB was left behind at the shop, and the PSU dust ... read more

Excellent service! I attempted to fix my phone myself and bought a new screen off of Amazon. I spent over four hours trying to figure out why my phone was resetting and not working. I brought my phone into the owner, and he knew what was wrong with it within minutes. He had my parts in stock and was able to fix my phone in no time. Sometimes it pays to just have a pro who knows what they are doing to do it for you. I definitely learned my lesson and will just go to this guy in the future! Thank you for your help!

Charged $35 to “clean” my charging port at the east side location. As seen before. It’s outrageous that I wasn’t informed I was going to be charged before they took my phone back and started cleaning it. I could’ve done the same job at home myself. I would’ve never paid the price if I knew it was so expensive. They didn’t tested the port at the store after cleaning. Edit in response- I never gave consent and agreed to the price before they took my phone and started cleaning. Warning to the public to hold on to your phone an... read more

I learned a very important lesson recently of the importance of backing up your phone and photos. I’ve had my phone for six years and during that time taken a number of photos during vacations, family photos, work photos, and projects around the house. One morning I woke up and my phone was completely dead and it would not respond to anything I did. I brought my phone into Tech Guru and talked with Matthew about my phone and he was very straightforward on what it likely could be and the costs of what each would cost. Ultimat... read more

I would NOT recommend. I needed a new iphone screen and was charged prior to any service. They were unable to repair the phone and only made it worse resulting in me having to get a whole new battery and new screen from a different business. They also waited over an hour to notify me that they would not be fixing my phone. (I did get a full refund)
