I dropped the phone off on Thursday and was told it would be repaired by the next day. On Friday they let me know it would not be done until Monday, but it was too late in the day for me to come pick it up and take it to another shop. I did get the phone back Monday and it seems to be repaired - battery is no longer swollen. It still drains VERY fast but that's probably Samsung's fault and not TechDoc's. Great customer service, took my son’s ps5 in and was fixed in a day.
I brought my iPhone here for a screen repair and encountered two major issues:1. Poor screen quality. 2. Invasion of privacy. At first, the owner seemed knowledgeable. However, when I returned the next day to pick up my phone, I noticed the new screen was blurry. When I asked about it, he said it was a "common issue," so I trusted his explanation. Maynor is an absolute rockstar. My 12 Pro MAX had some water damage I guess built up over time and it was stuck on the hot temperature screen even when it wasn’t hot. I took it to Apple they told me they werent gonna touch it and to just upgrade my phone. I took it to 3 other small “we fix phones” businesses and they either couldn’t do it or refused to work on it.
