The staff are wonderful, the salon is pristine & Sandi is absolutely amazing!!! The first time I showed up with gray, curly & unkempt hair (was in a nursing home for a year prior). Sandi works pure magic, her skill set with curly hair, layers, blowouts is extraordinary! Her personality, attention to detail & aura makes the experience that much more special. Besides a perfect cut & blowout I feel like I spent the afternoon with friends.
When I moved from the UK to Astoria a couple of years back a hair stylist was in my top 5 things to secure! And I found the best! Sandi and Nicole are both wonderful, I always get perfect results, and the ladies always go above and beyond, not only is it a hair appointment it feels like a catch up with friends every time I am there. I've since moved over to Jersey and will still always take the drive over to Astoria. See you again soon ladies!!
I always get a good haircut from sandi her prices are unbeatable for the area and nicole is awesome also!
I was initially thrilled with my Brazilian blowout and the stylist who did it. However, the treatment completely failed after only 3 weeks when it should have lasted 3-4 months. When I requested a refund, I was told the only option was a redo. I agreed and we began coordinating schedules—which was challenging due to my work schedule, the commute from NYC to Astoria, and the holiday rush. Sandy and her assistant were absolutely fabulous! I've had really bad experiences with hair salons and I appreciate Sandy listening and giving me the hair I exactly wanted. She's very professional and definitely knows what she's doing! 10/10 experience - I will be coming back every time! Thank you!
