I started going to Nicole over a year ago for my hair after always being disappointed by hair salons in my own neighborhood, and I’m so happy I did!! I literally go to her every time I need my highlights redone, my hair cut, or even just if I need it blow dried for a special event; because she just has a special touch and just manages to make my hair look so beautiful every time. So happy I discovered this salon and I always look forward to upcoming appointments I make.
The staff are wonderful, the salon is pristine & Sandi is absolutely amazing!!! The first time I showed up with gray, curly & unkempt hair (was in a nursing home for a year prior). Sandi works pure magic, her skill set with curly hair, layers, blowouts is extraordinary! Her personality, attention to detail & aura makes the experience that much more special. Besides a perfect cut & blowout I feel like I spent the afternoon with friends.
When I moved from the UK to Astoria a couple of years back a hair stylist was in my top 5 things to secure! And I found the best! Sandi and Nicole are both wonderful, I always get perfect results, and the ladies always go above and beyond, not only is it a hair appointment it feels like a catch up with friends every time I am there. I've since moved over to Jersey and will still always take the drive over to Astoria. See you again soon ladies!!
I always get a good haircut from sandi her prices are unbeatable for the area and nicole is awesome also!
I was initially thrilled with my Brazilian blowout and the stylist who did it. However, the treatment completely failed after only 3 weeks when it should have lasted 3-4 months. When I requested a refund, I was told the only option was a redo. I agreed and we began coordinating schedules—which was challenging due to my work schedule, the commute from NYC to Astoria, and the holiday rush.
