We attended the Brett's Burgers event for the second time, which only happens once a year. It was worth the wait! Everything on the menu was fantastic and the cocktails were delicious, especially the jalapeno pomegranate marg.
Food was okay. Kind of spoiled by the other food places in Springfield so in comparison it didn't really stack up. Price was the typical downtown inflated prices. Which I expected. Server was chill.
As a person who lives trying fusion spots, the restaurant recipes lacked flavour balances. Overly wert pineapple salsa was served in a soggy taco shell. Almost felt soaked in water. The queso was just milk and roux, I suggest owner really take this off the menu. It was not worth serving or edible. I would google go taste chipotle’s queso and chat GPT how to make queso.
