They got my number from some third party data provider and texted me out of the blue about my home equity? It was weird and invasive and a strange way to try to get business. Came across as shady to be honest. *edit to address the owner’s response: here’s the screenshot of the sales person saying the text was “totally random” (i.e. unsolicited) and telling me they got my number from a data provider.
