I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. I went in specifically asking for dip powder over tips, but the nail tech talked me into builder gel instead. Unfortunately, it became very clear during the appointment that she either lacked experience with builder gel or simply did not know how to apply it properly. My nails are all different lengths and thicknesses, the shaping is inconsistent, and you can visibly see excess builder gel along the sides of several nails. I went and had the $63 pedicure with Betty. She was supposed to have done the paraffin wax that was included with my pedicure but did not. The polish was outside of the nail and she never did a top coat on the polish. As soon as her regular customer came in she was done with me and started with her. Overall, the service was very subpar.

As an African American woman, I was stared down from the moment I walked in. I arrived at 12:30pm and was immediately told to “come back at 2pm” with no explanation at all. I wasn’t asked to wait, even though another woman was already waiting and being helped. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Truly a horrible establishment in Goodyear.
