When I first went to Dr. Long, I had had Bell’s Palsy for about 6 weeks. I immediately found her to be kind, warm and immensely interested in helping me. She did advise me that I had a few strikes against me which would slow down my recovery - I was 70 years old, had a sluggish immune system due to a severe allergic reaction to the Covid vaccine, and was suffering with Polymyalgia Rheumatica. My right hand was shaking and going numb; and I had severe pain in my elbow and wrist. After just one visit with Dr. Long, the pain had greatly subsided and the shaking stopped. Dr. Long not only treated me, but showed me exercises to do at home to alleviate the symptoms. Dr. Long is compassionate and very knowledgeable in her field. Dr. Long is fantastic! She's incredibly attentive and takes the time to truly listen. I came in dealing with migraines and after one treatment they were gone. The next day I felt more flexible at the gym, slept better than I had in ages, and actually woke up refreshed when my alarm went off, something I used to really struggle with. Highly recommend her!
I have chronic back pain and recently had a bad flare up and decided to try acupuncture. Dr. Long was referred to me by a friend. The sessions with her have been very effective in reducing my back pain and increasing my range of motion. She is very skilled and I highly recommend her!
