I went to Teak Acupuncture after having some back and shoulder tightness that was beginning to cause me fairly constant pain. I was hesitant about it to be honest, as acupuncture has never really been on my radar, but at the behest of a friend, I gave it a try. I've been getting acupuncture for 20 years, and I can honestly say, TK is a master at what she does. The best thing about a session with her --besides the fact that she gives a wonderful needle treatment, and her unique and satisfying cupping technique-- is that she LISTENS. The actua... read more

I had previously had two back to back miscarriages and knew that combined with advice from my OB, acupuncture could be the key to a physically and emotionally healthy pregnancy. Every session with TK was incredible. We started by addressing my overall health and anxiety surrounding the recent pregnancy losses. She customized a treatment plan using acupuncture, cupping and herbs (for the first trimester). She tr... read more
