Wonderful space. Excellent servers. Would go again.
My husband and I have come twice now! This time with my in laws and the service is fantastic! We loved Jingle! She was super sweet and attentive! The food and tea is so good too! We are big afternoon tea people and have even gone to the best of the best: fortum and mason in London. So we know our teas! We'll be back next time we're in town again! ☺️
The service we received during our visit was disappointing. To start, we were served on wares that was chipped. We were given a refill for our teas long after they had grown cold. The server demonstrated a lack of basic etiquette by pouring our tea with just one hand. With regards to the food and the drink, we were impressed with the excellent quality of the tea. However, the food were not to our liking when comparing it to the price we’re paying for.
My wife and I enjoy Afternoon Tea as a tradition. We've had great experiences at Salamander in Washington DC, Aman Tokyo, The Peninsula in Chiyoda City, and of course the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas. While all of them have been terrific, it's the Waldorf Astoria we make a point to return to. It's an experience, a least for us, that is equal parts elegant, fun, and at times even familial.
