Received 98 dollars fee for not displaying ticket….parking was paid. Like almost all downtown lots paying at machine shouldn’t require display….you get plate number with payment!!! The invoice wording reflects you know parking was paid. What a scam.
Beware of extortion attempts. A prepaid on the ParkWhiz app and confirmed the address; they are trying to claim I picked the wrong lot and gave me a phoney penalty notice for just under $100
It’s quite difficult to find the entrance when returning; it seems the only way in is through the Fairmont Royal York lobby, and the directional signs are not sufficient for navigation.
Be careful with the time slots. All day parking on weekends is essentially $24 (ie. if you arrive at 3:00 pm and want to stay till 11:00 pm you pay till 6:00 pm $12 + $12 till 6:00 am next day)
This place is awful. I arrived at 8:00 am and received a ticket at 8:04 , what a terrible place to park. Why can't you just get a ticket and pay before you leave like everywhere else.
