Thirty-five years ago I was given a Nikkor 105mm f/2.5 AIS lens for (then) a Nikon 35mm camera. It's been in storage since. I 'accidentally' found it as I was unpacking my very old boxes from the garage. It was absolutely 'frozen' from the grease totally dried up on the helicoid focus mechanism. I found Tony and TC Camera at least 15 years ago, and have followed him ever since, from Lisle to Yorkville. I have an old fashioned 35mm camera, so it always needs some care and Tony is The Man to go to... if he's as good with all the modern cameras as he is with my "old girl" then he is a wizard!!! AND his prices are ALWAYS reasonable!!! You cannot go wrong with Tony.
Returning from vacation I accidently shattered the glass monitor on the back of my Nikon D750. I was devastated. I went to a local camera store, PROCAM Photo and Video Gear in Aurora, Illinois. I had a great experience with Tony! As a photographer who counts on my camera all the time, I was very concerned about a fall it took, messing up the camera body's ability to function normally. I called and was helped over the phone with getting the mirror to work properly again. I was so thankful for Tony's quick and helpful answers that were sorted out over the phone without him even seeing it. VERY impressed and very thankful I have someone I can trust for future camera repairs!
