We purchased the alarm option from Toll Brothers when we purchased our new home. After a couple of years, TBI Smart Home Solutions sold our account to SafeGuard America. My contract with SafeGuard America just ended and we are trying to move our monitoring service to a local alarm company (for a more personalized service) but have run into a major problem where SafeGuard America will not "unlock"/"release" my cellular communicator and will not reset the alarm "Installer code" back to the equipment manufacturer default "Insta... read more
A complete scam. Was never explained by sales person about the billing. They bill you for never activating the equipment that was installed for free. They lock you into a contract without telling you. Just put it in small print that no one will ever read. They tell you the house will be wire for free and never say you will be locked into a contract. Horrible business model and company.

Don't ever use this company or service. Absolutely disgraceful. Billing is a joke and they sign you up on long term contracts without explaining anything. I've asked for a manager to call me multiple times and have received nothing. Save yourself the trouble and look to more reputable companies who aren't here to scam you out of as much money as possible.
