what's not to like here.
Tonight was the first time that I had been back to Taytro’s since they changed their menu. I was so happy to see that they now offer some vegetarian options and a Gluten Free Mushroom Marinara Pasta! I have celiacs and am so happy that they not only offer this dish but it is so very good! Past visits I would have a salad or a grilled fish. Thank you so much for adding this to your menu!
UPDATE: Stopped in for lunch today to check out some of the new items (or order the same because it is always good)...WOW!!! The Boudin Bites are an ABSOLUTE must... seriously, just get them. The Jalapeno Popper Chicken was also a masterpiece to hit the tastebuds. If you're there and the bartenders name is Justin, be sure to order yourself a spicy bloody mary with a Cajun rim... it truly is the best bloody mary you'll have. Taytros is an amazing cajun inspired restaurant right here in Festus. Two of my go to favorites are BBQ Shimp and a bowl of seafood gumbo. Amazing family owned atmosphere and the genuinely energetic staff go above and beyond.to provide an enjoyable night out!
First time there and we will definitely be back! Great food, great music, excellent service! 6 of Us on a busy Saturday evening and everything was excellent.

Excellent bbq pulled pork!! Make sure to order an appetizer or salad, that way you have something to eat/nibble on while you’re waiting for the main course
Food is delicious, drinks reasonably priced, great atmosphere, pleasant attentive staff and live music! Do I need to say more! It is a pleasure having this establishment in our small town!
Thursday’s are my favorite! Can’t ever get enough of those gator tacos. Wish they were an every day menu item!
