I was a patient for a couple of years, but ever since the end of the pandemic she can never fit me in. For my well check - I sat in her office for 1.5 hours before I decided to leave. I scheduled a virtual appointment for migraines and waited an 1 hour before I left. She clearly is overbooked and doesn't consider her existing patients when booking new patients. I've decided to find a new doctor. It's a shame, b/c I liked her and the care I received when it was convenient for her.
Dr. Shaya in a excellent doctor, knowledgable, willing to listen and really hear what is going on with your health and genuinely caring. I have had no problem booking appointments and she and her staff are great. Not only is she my doctor but I have also sent my family, friends and others to her. Everyone loves her!
Dr. Shaya is the best in her field and takes the time, even if it takes an hour or more, to talk about everything and anything you're concerned about and her feedback. Her staff is also fantastic.
Horrible...my wife went in almost 3 weeks ago. We paid and she left there extremely impressed. Since then, they have received blood tests back, they have ignored our dozen calls..the doctor even minded her 430 appointment with us yesterday. We received a text this morning from the Doctor that she was sorry and we were first on her list...end of the day and still haven't heard back. Very unfortunate. I not only feel like we were stolen from but our time has been wasted.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shaya’s for around 15 years. I now take my daughter to her. We have both always been difficult cases. She takes time with us, truly listens, and goes above and beyond to find an accurate diagnosis. What I like most about her is she is continually learning. She is not one of those doctors who thinks she knows more about you than you do. I am grateful for her contribution to our care.
Awesome Doctor! Sincere, great bedside manner, takes a genuine interest in her patients! Dr. Shaya listens, asks questions, and makes sure you understand what she is saying. Extremely compassionate and caring doctor!
I made an appointment for my daughter to see Dr. Shaya March 7, and it is now May 15. She never saw her, here is what happened: I checked my daughter out from school an hour early for the appt. We showed up a bit early to fill out forms & then waited for two-and-a-half hours. Yes, 2 1/2. We were never called back. Eventually I had to leave. I was told that certainly Dr. Shaya would be contacting me to reschedule. Still waiting. It's been 69 days. Will not go back there. No respect for my time.
Over the last couple of years Dr. Shaya's practice has changed dramatically. Either she lacks a qualified staff who does not relay messages to her or she simply does not follow through with her patients after recommending various tests. Her staff made the comment that perhaps in 2017 they could make some improvements.
Dr. Shaya has always been so kind & caring. She is the best. I am so grateful for her, the staff & Dr. Shaya make going to the Dr much easier.
