After 4 months of waiting, I finally got an appointment with a primary care physician. It had been 2 years since I had actually had a PCP, and everything went smoothly and worked out fine. The doctor was a really nice guy, which I was happy about.
I took my mom to this clinic, she has a history of septicemia, and infection. I told them when we arrived that i was sure she had an infection, she was fevered and slightly delirious. They didn't do a single test for infection, and instead did a flu test that came back negative... Its completely ridiculous when given the information i gave them to not test for infection, and potentially life threatening. Even the instacare has become unaffordable for most people. I was there for 5-10 minutes and my total (after insurance) was pretty unbelievable. To be fair, its the whole medical system but something has to change.
I called for children’s rehab to schedule and “Mona” talks in a demeaning manor with an attitude for no reason at all..
