My dog, Moby, has had a lot of health issues in the 7 years since I adopted him. Dr. Smith and the staff have been a great resource, have been able to fit us in the schedule when something comes up, worked with my budget, and have provided excellent boarding services when we are out of town.
We LOVE Taylor Vet... the vets care so deeply for animals AND their people. They go out of their way to be helpful and get your pet seen as soon as possible when necessary. The staff is friendly and kind. Great care... great people.
This is the most caring and knowable animal hospital around. Dr Smith met us in the middle of the night and saved my cats life. Being new cat owners to 2 kitties we did not have a vet yet. I called one place in Waterloo and was turned away where my cats where not patients yet. Frantic called Taylor and Dr Smith more then willingly came right out with his wife in the middle of the night. Since that time both my kitties have become regulars there and have seen both vets. Thanks to Dr. Wendi and everyone else that took such wonderful care of Maggie while she has been rehabbing after her back injury, she is now walking on her own again!!! Can't imagine going to any other Veterinary Hospital. You are amazing!

Taylor Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Smith have been great as we have become first time dog parents. From the very first appointment with their puppy orientation to this past week when we took him in for some routine surgery.
