Omg I just called a Pcp practice in Taylor to make appt. for convenience sake as my current PCP is in Georgetown n I don't drive. Self important phone jockey asked if I took pain pills. I was shocked but said I do occasionally as needed but they are prescribed by one of my other providers. I said that's a bizarre and insulting question to ask someone wanting to make a new patient appointment. She said 'well we have NPs in our practice too and we don't prescribe narcotics.' This is a wonderful alternative to 'big box' health care. I've been using Cindy Smith and Joan Maxfield for over ten years and have nothing but good things to say about their facility. You're not just a number here. The staff is friendly and helpful no matter whom you come in contact with, and Cindy Smith and Joan Maxfield listen attentively to your problems to discover the best way to treat them.
