How do they ER doctors who are not in network with the same insurance companies as the hospital? I feel this should be disclosed. I’m talking Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance not some obscure insurance. I’ve never had this issue before. Where are these doctors from??
I was admitted into the ER earlier this year. 2 months later, I received a bill for over $600. My insurance coverage is a co-pay of $100 only. When I called my insurance company to ask why the claim was not paid in full, I was told the Hospital was in network but the Physican is not and that the Physicians at Taylor are independent contractors and are not paid by the Hospital. When I arrived at 3:30am the ER WAS EMPTY& I still waited an hour to be stitched up & only cause they were too busy talking about a TV show. They stitched my hand up with 1/2 the meat still hanging out & it was done so poorly the specialist at the Hand center asked if I did it myself. If I could give this place no stars I would but in order to give a review I have too.
The best part about my 2 day stay at this hospital was the cleaning lady "TONYA CLARK" what a sweetheart. Other then her, that hospital stinks, especially ER doctors
