I've never had a problem with the office staff and I went there for years. My only complaint is from a few year ago when I had to cancel my appointment the day of due to a covid symptoms, which I ended up being positive for and could never get ahold of anyone to schedule another appointment. But that's on me. The dentist is very straight forward and doesn't sugar coat anything. He tells you what's going on, whether it's what you want to hear or not. But his work is amazing! Dr. Hoover has taken my fear out of dentistry. He and his staff are very personable. Only dentist I will go to and definitely will refer people to him.
Make sure if you try to reschedule an apt that you call before 8am if not be prepared to never be able to make an apt again…per the receptionist! They should send out a reminder text/email with apt. time with information that states this so patients can be aware of the reschedule policies as well as there turn away policy if you don’t arrive 15 minutes before your apt.,this should all really be voiced during the first apt scheduling and or sent via email/text.Just read through the review replies from this dentist!! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hoover and his team. I first called the office last week with some dental pain, and they were able to get me in right away. Dr. Hoover was kind, professional, and efficient—he did some fillings on the spot and also submitted a preauthorization for a wisdom tooth extraction, but told me that if the pain worsened beforehand, I could call back and he would take care of it.
