Doctor Taylor is a very good doctor, but is completely unaffordable. There is never a set time, so you have no idea what the cost of the visit will be until you go to pay or are billed. He doesn't return phone calls. Getting a refill is impossible at the pharmacy unless you have an existing appointment. it's all about money. It's really ashame that when you go in for help, the only thing that goes thru your mind is how much is this going to cost. Everyone has a choice and my choice is to stop seeing him. Dr. Taylor is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate doctors it's ever been my privilege to have treat me. His understanding of psychopharmaceuticals is second to none, and he is constantly keeping up with studies and trends. Above all else he genuinely cares about my well being. When I had an acute need for him and placed a phone call/message, his staff did have trouble conveying the message to him. Dr. Taylor did not visit or call when I was hospitalized or after I was released. When I needed him to send a report to my insurance company regarding my condition, he took three month to comply and not before he called to remind me that he had other professional resposibilities to contend with. He invited me to find another psychiatrist if I thought I could get better care elsewhere. He promised to complete and have the report ready in 48 hours which he did not.
