I have been using Mary Jane at Tax Gal for many years. She has always done a great job with my taxes plus she is just a really nice warm-hearted person. I moved out of L.A. but still use her. I would highly recommend her services.
BE FOREWARNED. I used Tax Gal & Associates for several years. However, when they filed my 2011 taxes there was an incorrect filing of IRA contribution withdrawal that came to light with the IRS in 2013. I paid them to make an amendment. In 2017, the California Franchise Tax Board contacted Tax Gal & Associates, because they filed the IRS amendment. The person at the Franchise Tax Board told me that Tax Gal & Associates told him that they no longer do my taxes. However, they did do the amendment that he was calling them about... read more
