From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious. The cherry on top was the excellent service.
If you are in Charlottesville, or within driving range, you have to try this place. Enjoy the total experience! Start with the bar - in the back, Steve and his crew will 'mix' you a fabulous cocktail or pour a great wine. They even have some appetizers in the bar area that you can't order in the restaurant. Next - the restaurant, come early or the specials - posted nightly - might not be available, but even if they aren't you are in for a great dining experience. There is nothing bad about this place. What makes it more special and memorable are the staff. BTW: Steve Yang, bar manager, makes some of the best drinks in town.
One of my favourite restaurants. Amazing food. Great people. Fun, quaint atmosphere. Very often come on my, my mother's, and my step-father's birthdays. Thanks for your amazing cuisine!
We loved Tavola. It was our first time there. We sat at the bar. Priscilla was very attentive and good at offering suggestions for our drinks. For dinner, we had the "linguine alla carbonara" and the "capellini frutti di mare far diavolo." Both were excellent! We will go back here. The bar space is a little too congested with the waiters and waitresses needing to get to the cash register while the chef in charge of the salads, breads and desserts is busy working right in front of you.
