Echoing what others said. There were slugs in our room, we got 2 towels for 4 days and the room was not cleaned once. Truly a bad experience. I know it’s cape cod so they can get away with whatever, but this was bad.
This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I stayed in the carriage house with friends. All of our rooms were dirty upon arrival. It seemed like the only thing they did was clean the sheets. Old plumbing, bad WiFi, the staff was unprofessional and rude, the room was not cleaned once during the 4 days we stayed. I can not comment on how dirty the floor was. The pictures on the website are a lie. This hotel is a scam, do not spend your money here.
We really wanted to like this spot. Other reviews had us looking forward to rustic charm, personalized and friendly service, and a great location. Unfortunately that was not our experience. The room: We booked the "Captain's Room" and walked in to find that the single photo of the room online was out of date as furnishings had been changed. Cozy, calm, and surrounded by nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the whole place has a relaxing charm. The owner is very kind and the staff is helpful and welcoming. I was there for a short vacation, and it was the perfect spot to recharge. I also had breakfast at their new restaurant, Brekkies — absolutely delicious! Friends recommended this place to me, and now I’ll be the one recommending it to others. I’ll definitely come back.
We needed a place to stay for 4th of July week as the family Cape House in Truro was overfilled. We were lucky to secure a stay in the WhiteCrest suite at the Copper Swan - a quintessential Cape Bed and Breakfast. Stately, rustic, and peaceful, we enjoyed the various spots to relax around the grounds and wonderful breakfast baskets with high protein yogurt, fresh fruit, and indulgent baked goods.
