Went to Tavern on Clark for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The steak sandwich special was good. Unfortunately, they did not have any hamburger available and the waitress failed to tell us that when she took our drink order. When my son order the Clark burger, he was told they were out of hamburger. Busy Sunday with Mother's Day we were told. Management couldn't run out and get more before 11am? Tonight I again had AMAZING Service and Food. I want to take a moment to mention the manager. I saw him with a smile on his face when I walked in the front door, he was kind to the staff and the customers~that matters! I then watched him help clear a table. No big deal right, but it is. So many times management "stays in their lane"~ there is staff for that. This gentleman was helping to keep things moving. We had the Tavern Steak and baked potato & veg and the four-cheese stuffed pork chop with sweet potato risotto & asparagus. Both were very tasty. Salads were nicely preped, get the housemate Ranch dressing. Great place for a celebration dinner
I had a really enjoyable experience overall 😊. The service was outstanding from start to finish — the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome.
