We ate here for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner and it was excellent. We had a delicious meal and the staff and atmosphere were wonderful.
We love the place! My wife wanted to go for a while and we finally had the chance. Guys... the beignets! The beignets!! THE BEIGNETS!!! They are outrageously delicious. Seriously addictive. Incredibly satisfying. Completely indulging. Marvelously prepared and voraciously consumed. Now I'm dreaming of them. They should open a side window and serve them, pre-filled with jam, custard cream or Nutella. I volunteer as a tester.
Had dinner with a friend here last night. We had a lot to catch up on and were appropriately attended to by the staff. They gave us plenty of time to talk and when we started paying attention to our meal, the staff was right there ready to go. The food was delicious and, being a vegetarian, I appreciated several unique options offered on the small menu. I would absolutely return!!
Loved Tavern & Grocery in Charlottesville! Such a great vibe, and everything we ordered was delicious. The scallop risotto was incredible, and the burger was seriously so good. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us great recommendations too. Definitely a great Cville spot and one I’d recommend!
Went for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! I’m still thinking about the tuna tartare
