The experience was ok to start off but when a "homeless" guy comes to our table outside and invites himself to sit it went down hill. After hearing his story my mother gives him three dollars and he leaves to go get food so he says. As we leave we see him inside drinking. I confront him as he has a wad of money in his hand and the bartender as well as the staff says he comes here all the time to rips people off and drinks all night. Nice job keeping your customers Tavern 24. Wont be back.

Mark Hester My mother and I had the same experience as you going to eat there first week the restaurant opened and came to the same conclusion as you. Never eat at a restaurant the first week they're open. With that being said, I don't think you should write it off forever. I am going to go try it again and will update the review after. Hopefully by now they have gotten their minutes together, if not I will not be returning I do commend the managers though for giving us our entire meal for free. Lesson 1 - never eat at a restaurant during the first week of business. Took my family in and ordered black & blue burger, southwest chicken, & chicken skewers with potatoes. After waiting 30 minutes for the food, the burger came out bleeding raw, and the potatoes that came out with the skewers was totally raw (hard as a rock). The southwest chicken was terrible tasting. We sent the food back and waited another 15 minutes and guess what, it came back out the same exact way as before . .. hard and raw. The manager was nice an... read more

The only thing worse then the service was the Dry, Over Cooked, Flavorless Steak...
