Had a Wagyu strip steak, which was correctly cooked over a gas flame (not by infrared, which doesn’t produce any char flavor. It was good quality meat, juicy, had been allowed to rest in the kitchen before serving. The duck-fat fries were ordinary, in fact starchy, not even as good as McDonald’s. Apparently a party of one is not appreciated. When I refused to sit at there version of a bar, I was sat literally at a side table at the front entrance. I should not have to pay this type of money for that. They do not enforce dress code in allowing inebriated table of nine with people in shorts and caps dropping F bombs every other sentence. The prime rib was too dry and the potatoe appeared to have been cooked earlier and reheated. Will not make this mistake again

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio at La Taverne at The Broadmoor. The setting was beautiful and relaxing, the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny afternoon. I ordered the French onion soup, which was rich, flavorful, and topped with a perfectly golden, cheesy crust—it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
