My search for a cataract surgeon began 7 months and three doctors before I was able to go to Dr Tavakkoli. The first one had a convertible Ferrari parked in the prime parking spot with the top down like they didn't care if it got rained on or sun damaged. Now most of us don't have a friend or a relative in the cataract surgery business so we must to some degree judge a book by its cover. I have been a patient of Dr Tavakkoli for almost 10 years now and I'm so blessed to have him as my Ophthalmologist. Dr Tavakkoli is so calm, nice and peaceful. He gives a new meaning to proper bedside manner and he is absolutely brilliant in his field. He takes his time with you and answers all of your questions. I have had two different types of eye surgery now. One of them being cataract surgery which has been life changing for me. Dr Tavakkoli is the only Dr I would trust to do surgery on my eyes. I had appointment today with them, I've called 3 times to find out if they received my referral. My doctor had already faxed it twice. I was told this morning by someone who called me from their office that they had the referral. And then I show up and guess what they don't have a referral so bad bad .I can only guess at this point that I would have been sitting as long as the rest of the people look like they were sitting on top of each other waiting for their appointment times. Don't go here

This is a Dr that should retired ! I had to go to him because allá of a sudden there was an issue with my Dr and insurance that I had been going for year he had my dry eyes under control now came to see thi awful Dr and he did not want to put my plugs in I told him I had to do many things to control my Dr eyes he did not want to listen he should be put away and no Pt should go near him he is awful I told him I was not happy he did not care he wanted to sell some drops that when I saw the ingredients it just had glicerina he... read more
