The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were attentive throughout my visit, ensuring every detail was taken care of. Great service by Tautog I took dinner from tautog with one of my friends. I think they are very special. Anyone can visit and enjoy.
Our dining experience was superb. Due in large part to a knowledgeable server ( Jessie) who knew the menu to a T and was gracious and fun. Great experience with excellent food & atmosphere.
Amazing original dishes – This is my favorite place to eat in Hampton Roads. The best steak I've ever had, I ate it here. The crab dip is my favorite appetizer ever. The menu is very creative with several great Asian inspired dishes. The specials never cease to amaze as well. Oh and the prices are very reasonable. I'd say avg. plate is no more then $25. This little restaurant looks like a house, you might miss it but it is on 23rd between Atlantic and Pacific. Small and loved by the locals. Decent wine list and great food with large portions. Crab nachos piled super high, great seared tuna, awesome crab cakes. Small and very friendly. Open year round and has a nice fireplace for to make cold days feel warm & cozy. Highly recommended. Would give it 5 stars but it is really a simple restaurant. jeans are the norm.
Loved it! Ordered the appetizer special and two dinner specials and it was all fantastic. Attentive service without being too rushed. We were traveling off peak season, and there was no wait, no rush. Excellent food, great vacation atmostphere.
I have been several times and I enjoy it each time. I ordered the house salad which was great but the preparer of the salad needs to do a better job of washing & inspecting the green's before they are plated for the customer. I had to pick through the lettuce because some of the leaves were spoiled. I would rather you make me a smaller salad with less leaves that are fresh, than a large one with old lettuce.
