Lived in one of Mr. Milton Taube's buildings for many years. While I never met him personally, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting extensively with his staff. They are a great team of professionals—Ms. Janet Kane (זכרונה לברכה), Mercedes Viera-Serrano, and the other staffers I’ve spoken with have all been incredibly kind and helpful with the typical issues that come with living in NYC. I concur with Jerry Fitzgerald—utterly deplorable. Milton Taube, colloquially known as Uncle Miltie, perpetuates his family’s legacy of systemic oppressive housing practices.
