It’s honestly a shame that one person ruined her 5 star rating because they don’t understand how insurance or healthcare work. Dr Scarpato has been the best doctor I’ve personally had and she’s always listened and clearly has my health and happiness as her goal. She won’t shame you for researching your own things and asking questions, I’ve never felt gaslit or judged and I’ve never been talked down to or talked over. Annual checkups are not going to be free here - if any small thing comes up during the appointment, like mild eczema or acne, they file it as an additional problem-related visit. You feel like you can’t talk about any general health concerns. They also did not tell us there would be an additional charge while we were there, just sneakily filed it to insurance so 10 days later the copayment bill came to us. For three kids, this was $90!
