Dr. Wellens is a great podiatrist and surgeon. She was able to identify and correct a Tarsal Coalition that was causing pain and beginning stages of arthritis in my foot. I am about 5 months post surgery and I am almost back to normal, without the issues I had before. Just remember, surgery can correct things, but you must do the post surgery work to get fully back to normal or a better state than you were previously. Dr. Wellens is like a miracle worker to me. I have (had) peripheral neuropathy pain for years which would bring me to tears and disrupt my sleep. Dr. Wellens is the first doctor to have a solution to help get rid of this pain by using regenerative therapy. Four weeks since my treatment and I am 98% pain free. I believe I’ll be 100% pain free by my check in 3 months. Everyone at this clinic has been so nice & knowledgeable. Dr. Wellens - a super physician!
