Purchased used truck with extended warranty of 84 months or 100,000 miles. At 80000 miles truck needed a rear end . They denied my warranty even the I had one. Stating warranty starts at date of original sale the truck was used a20176 bought in 2020contract signed clearly states warranty starts day of MY purchase been trying for 3 months to resolve . But of course they don’t answer or say we will get back to you.
Our salesman Fred Martin was wonderful to us. Having multiple issues from Tate Dodge as a dealership previously, Fred was very attentive and solved any issues that arose with “our new to us” van. Fred is obviously very experienced in the world of cars, if you want someone who has seen a few things and will give it to you straight, THIS is the salesperson you want. Horrible service department. Had my jeep 6 days did nothing to it. I had to call each time to check on it. Worst car repair service ever. Dont buy or get car repaired from Tate. They don't care about you or your time. Literally any other car shop on Rte. 2 will give you better care.
Worst dealership to work with. No communication, they don’t honor the warranty. Avoid them at all cost. Bought a 2015 Terrain. Had some issues before we even took it off then lot, they promised to correct so took it back and they had it for a month and still didn’t fix anything then wanted to charge me $100 deductible. Brakes failed 200 miles in and they won’t fix cause it’s “maintenance” related. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There is plenty of dealerships on Ritchie.
Purchased my 2024 Ram 1500 in Dec of 2024 brand new with 25 miles on the odometer with the Black Widow Package from Thornton Ram in PA. I was told that all required maintenance can be performed at any Ram Dealer. I come to Tate Dealership because it is only 3 miles from my home and while they will do the oil change, they (Service Manager) give a disclaimer that they are not responsible for damage to aftermarket wheels when the technician rotates the tire/wheels.
