Tate service center is a Scheme , They overcharge people all the time , The employees at the desk who does the checkins will always lie and tell you a price about your issue but once its time to pay the Total...All of a sudden it " doubles" from what was said and agreed to when you arrived then once you confront them about it they make up more lies on why they charged you for uncessary stuff, Last thing is the labor cost which isnt worth it when the mechanics barely do their job correctly, I learned my lesson to NEVER GO BAC... read more
What happened? If been coming here for twenty years and this is the most disappointing experience. An hour and forty-five minutes to get a turn signal bulb replaced seems a little long. I never minded paying 20.00 for a 5.00 bulb because that included installation. Not today. 20.00 for the bulb and 20.99 installation. To make it even better, a 9.00 shop fee. 3.00 of the fee was for fluid disposal. For a turn signal bulb! Maybe I've been wrong all of these years and blinker fluid is real.
Update February 2025: I take back my previous glowing review. We were told my vehicle received a full "de-carbon," yet my actual year/make/model does not even qualify for such a service, especially for such low miles. Roger, the Service Manager, stated their cameras did not go past one week therefore he could not even prove the Technician, Will, did the service written on the service write-up.
