We came to this place regularly since covid. It has been good but now they focus on all-You-can-eat. It's no longer the same. Personal hot pot has a lot of vegetables, mostly cabbage, minimum meat, no more quail eggs and no service. We will not come back, there are better choices to spend my $.
Quality has declined significantly since the pandemic, especially the soups. Ingredients are added raw and cold to the pot, so you end up with boiling bits and cold bits all mixed together. I was a fan for a few years but I think this is my last visit, there are many other options.
I was intrigued by the AYCE option after receiving an advertisement text from them, so I came in around 4:30 on a Wednesday, so the restaurant was pretty empty. There were only 2 other groups of customers when I got there. The waiter told me I could sit anywhere I’d like with the stove and went back to his station without any explanation. I just said no pork, but they give me a pot with pork.
I work in the food industry and seeing this worker standing in the kitchen openly vaping while food is being cooked and prepared is against ALL food safety practices. Alao to see that his co workers are interacting with him and see this happening. Appalling. The food is great but that ruined the experience
