The Hawaiian plate was so good. Yes it's expensive. But this isn't cooked on a flat top in 10 minutes. This was cooked with a lot of time and effort. This is what Hawaiian food is supposed to taste like. Tastes like a Hawaiian grandmother spent all day cooking it. Delicious!

I ordered a chicken Katsu plate, got my order and my portion looked like it was meant for a child, also why was the katsu sauce salty/sour? Price was high for what I got, but I’ll give it a second chance and order something else.

So it was my first time here. Tasty Hawaiian in Costa Mesa was the best authentic local food I’ve tasted since my last visit to Hawaii. I order three different plate lunches. Starting with the Seafood Mix it was so fresh and crispy! Garlic Chicken is definitely a must get! Last but definitely not least the Kalbi plate was delicious and cooked perfectly, not dry and full of flavor and Teri sauce topped it off !! I'm convinced these reviews are fake or friends... They don't have what's on the menu, they weren't open and ready by any means at the time they post on the door... C'mon do better... I was so ready to give em a try and good rating from last reviews I Saw but maybe another time... And we drove an hour to get there... Bummahs!

Oh my god, incredible! Great prices and huge portions. Everything I got (spam musubi, teri chicken, veggie rolls) was SO good. Plenty of parking. Will absolutely be going back, or going to their monthly market in Tustin
